Partners

EREP's four-way partnership has evolved since 1996 when Development and Social Services Commission of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus partnered with the Presbytery of Susquehanna Valley of the Presbyterian Church (USA) to explore common interests and experiences. By 2000, this partnership selected development of rural schools as a goal they wanted to achieve. They selected the Rishi Valley Education Centre to provide expertise in educational technology for rural schools. LearningWell Partners International, Inc. an NGO based in Blacksburg, Virginia, serves as international coordinator. It has applied for, but has not yet been granted, 501(c)3 tax exempt status. Additional participants include First Presbyterian Church of Ithaca, New York, and Northside Presbyterian Church of Blacksburg, Virginia.
